Healing: Unwanted Sexual Contact

Do you know how to minister to someone - child or adult - who has suffered from unwanted sexual contact? Have you ever suffered from unwanted sexual contact? Have you had the courage to ask for ministry? Have you received prayer and Father God's supernatural healing for the trauma?

Do your children know how to say "NO!"
to adults who want sexual contact? One study showed that most children who had attended classes teaching them to say "NO!" to possible perpetrators, still opened the door or went with them because they still didn't know how to say "NO!" to an adult.

1 out of 3 females and 1 out of 7 males will experience unwanted sexual contact by the age of 18. How many churches offer spiritual prayer ministry to survivors of abuse, molestation, assault, rape or other unwanted sexual assault? As you listen to this recorded interview with two survivors, learn about the importance of being trained to offer effective spiritual prayer ministry to survivors.

Here's how to begin to pray for healing:

Lord, your Word says in Isaiah 61:3 "You will bestow a crown of beauty instead of ashes and the oil of gladness instead of mourning." I'm asking that You somehow turn the ash heap
of what happened to me into something of beauty.

Right now it seems an impossible task, but your Word says it's impossible with man, but with God all things are possible (Matt. 20:26). Even though I don't understand how, I'm believing by faith that it can happen.

I know that healing starts with forgiveness. Your Word says in Matt. 19:21 that we are to forgive 70 x 7 those that do wrong to us, so as an act of my own free will, I choose to forgive _______________ for what he/she did to me. Lord, You know that I'm not feeling the forgiveness right now, but I do choose to speak forgiveness, and trust that in time, eventually I'll feel the forgiveness and release on the inside.

I understand that forgiving the other person in no way lessens what happened to me - it simply frees me from the final bondage of power and control that ____________ has held over me. In the Name of Jesus Christ, the Anointed One, I break the bondage of that final ungodly soul tie now and I declare that I am free!

Lord, please forgive me the sinful reactions I have had. Forgive me for anyway that I have blamed You, for anyway that I have believed the devil's lies, for anyway that I have condemned others and forgive me for not forgiving myself.

I refuse to be a prisoner any longer - a prisoner who has been held by the bondage of hatred - hating the person for what he/she did to me, hating and blaming myself for it happening to me, hating and blaming You, Lord for somehow allowing it. I break the ties of the bondage of hatred that have held me, and declare freedom now in Jesus name!

I don't understand why it happened but I know that according to Your Word in Romans 8:28 You work all things out for good for those that love You and are called according to Your purpose. I love You and I'm called by You, and I hold onto the hope, and trust that somehow, some way, some day what happened will be worked out for good.

In the mean time, I love You, Lord Jesus, and believe that You love me!! I choose to believe that You will connect me with someone You have anointed to minister Your healing to me. I am believing You for someone who can truly minister Your healing and freedom and restore me - spirit, soul and body.
Thank you, Jesus!
