Why Did God
Become Man? |
|

|
God
has a plan to reach mankind and to relate to us, a plan He
initiated. Jesus
Christ claimed to be God come down to us in the flesh
communicating God's love to us. If
Jesus is God, then of course He has the every right to claim
that He is the only way to Himself. No
one can reach God independently by their own plan in their
own self-effort. Jesus
is better anyway, because He offers eternal life as a free
gift (cannot be earned by adopting a new code of ethics or
meeting religious standards.) Jesus
doesn't just command you to live right, He is offers to live
the Christian life from inside you. Jesus
isn't just another better than ever forgiveness plan; He is
the power to live a Godly life, His life, already built into
us. Jesus
wants relationship: to be one Spirit with us, as He is with
the Father. Jesus births His new
life into us, to live the Christian life through us.

Lord Jesus, I admit that I cannot be good enough to earn your love and acceptance. I turn from trying to manage my life in my own efforts and choose to trust you to forgive my unbelief, based on your death on the cross for me. I ask you to come into my life as Lord God and live the Christian life through me, as I cannot do it separated from you. I choose to yield to you day by day, your all knowing, all powerful and always present wisdom is everything that I need. I choose to know you and agree with your plans and wonderful purposes for me. I trust that you are inside me now equipping me in every way that you want to express your heart in me and to a needy world through me. There is nothing more important to me than a relationship with you Jesus; you are my source. Want to know how you can Know God Personally? of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him,
