Key #1 Stillness
I will stand at my guard post I choose to quiet myself in the presence of God.

  1. Heb. 3:18-19 I choose to enter into His rest by faith.
  2. Psalm 46:10 I choose to be still and know that He is God.
  3. John 16:13 God’s Spirit guides me into all Truth.
  4. 1 John 2:27 God’s anointing teaches me all things.

Key #2 Tune into flow
I will keep watch to see I look for vision as I pray, fixing my eyes upon Jesus.

1. John 5:19 Like Jesus, I can only do what I see the Father doing.

2. Hab. 2:1-2 I choose to look for vision as fix my eyes on Jesus.

3. Heb. 12:2 I choose to fix my gaze upon Jesus.

4. Dan. 4, 7 I expect to encounter God or Jesus as I look.

Key #3 Focus on Jesus
What He will speak to me. His voice often comes as spontaneous thoughts.

  1. 2 Cor. 10:3-5 All thoughts are not our thoughts
  2. Paga, the Hebrew word for intercession, a chance encounter, to light upon.
  3. John 10:27 My sheep hear My voice and I know them.
  4. John 7:37-39 Out of my heart will flow rivers of living water.
  5. Naba, the word for prophet, literally means to bubble up.
  6. 1 Cor. 6:17-19 I am one with the Spirit of God and I am His temple.
  7. John 15:5 Without abiding, I can do nothing but with – I can do all things.

Key #4 Record it
Then the Lord said, Record the vision

There is safety in recording, testing and submitting our words.


  1. 2 Tim. 3:16 All Rhema Words will line up with the written Logos Word.
  2. Heb. 5:14 We have our senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
  3. 1 Cor. 2:14-16 We can know the mind of the Lord; we have the mind of Christ.
  4. 1 Cor. 14:29 Let the prophets speak and let the others judge the prophets.
  5. Prov. 11:14 Discern ourselves and find safety in a multitude of counselors.
  6. Matt. 7:16 We are accountable for the source, methods and fruit of our ministry.
  7. 2 Cor. 13:1 Every Word will be confirmed by two or three witnesses.
  8. 1 Pet. 5:1-6 All Holy Ghost ministry will be motivated by the way of love.
  9. 1 Cor. 2:9-10 Our source is the Holy Spirit who searches all things.
  10. John 5:39-40 We come to Jesus that we may minister His Words of life.
  11. 1 Cor. 14:3 We prophesy edification, exhortation and comfort to the church.

1. Journaling. 2. Minister one word. 3. Minister a sentence to someone else.
